233 bottles of Phensidyl recovered in Chapainawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Aug 19, 2019 (BSS) – Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)
seized 233 bottles of contraband Indian Phensidyl from Kamalpur frontier area
in Chapainawabganj district this morning.
Acting on detective information, a patrol team of BGB-59 battalion from
Kamalpur border out post raided the aforesaid area at around 6.10 am and saw
a number of smugglers coming from Indian side with a plastic bag, BGB sources
said. Seeing BGB men the smugglers fled away leaving the bag. After searching
the bag BGB men found the bottles of Phensidyl.
Later the seized bottles of Phensidyl were deposited with the Narcotics
Control Department.
