Journalist Kamalesh Roy’s father dies
DHAKA, Aug 17, 2019 (BSS) – Daily Somoyer Alo news editor Kamalesh Roy’s
father Kalipada Roy today died of old age complications in Faridpur. He was
91.
Kalipada, a retired college teacher, was suffering from different old
age complications for long and was taking treatment from his daughter’s home
in Faridpur, where he breathed his last this morning.
He left behind wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and
well wishers to mourn his death.
Decision on his cremation will be taken later in the day.
