Seven die as car slams into tree in Feni
FENI, Aug 15, 2019 (BSS) – At least seven people were killed and 21 others
injured in a road accident in Lemua area on the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway this
morning.
Police said the accident happened when a Cox’s Bazar-bound picnic bus
slammed into a roadside tree in Lemua area under Feni Sadar upazila as the
driver lost control over the steering, leaving four people dead on the spot
and injuring others.
Of the injured, three succumbed to their injuries on the way to the
hospital, they added.
Initially, 21 injured persons were rushed to Feni Sadar Hospital while 11
of them were sent to Dhaka due to their critical condition.
