Schoolgirl electrocuted in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, Aug 14, 2019 (BSS) – A schoolgirl was electrocuted while
working in front of their residence in Rampura area of Halishahor thana in
the city today.
The deceased was identified as Afsana Jahan Tasmi, 16, daughter of Habibur
Rahman, hailed from Rampura area. She was a student of class 10 of Khaja
Goribe Newaz High School.
Alauddin Talukdar, sub-inspector of Chattogram Medical College and
Hospital (CMCH) Police outpost, said Tasmi came in contact with a live
electric-wire as she was working in front of their residence in the area at
about 8 am.
Tasmi was rushed to CMCH where the attending doctors declared her dead.
