JP chief pays homage to Bangabandhu, martyred family members

DHAKA, Aug 14, 2019 (BSS) – Chairman of Jatiya Party (JP) Ghulam Muhammed
Quader today paid deep homage to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh
Mujibur Rahman and his family members, who were martyred on the black night
of August 15, 1975.

The JP chief issued a statement on the eve of 44th martyrdom anniversary
of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the National
Mourning Day.

“Undisputed leader and Father of our Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur
Rahman was martyred on this black day in 1975. Such brutality is rare in the
world history. He dreamt of independent Bangladesh, architect of independence
and planned to build ‘Golden Bangladesh’. We will have to continue to mourn
his death till eternity,” he said.

The JP chairman said country’s people have to turn the sorrow into
strength and all have to work united, irrespective of caste, creed, sex and
religion to turn Bangabandhu’s dream of building a Sonar Bangla.
