BOGURA, Aug 14, 2019 (BSS)- Three persons were killed and 15 others injured in a head-on collision between two passenger buses at Aria bazaar of Shajahanpur Upazila on Bogura-Dhaka highway here today.
Police said Khairul Alam, 60 and his wife Ranu Begum, 50 and another unidentified person succumbed to injuries at Shahid Ziaur Rahman Medical College.
A bus of Shyamoli Paribahan coming form Dhaka to Rangpur and a bus of Ahad Paribahan coming from Hili, Dinajpur met the accident near Aria bazar bus stand at about 1.30 p.m.
All injured persons were rushed to the hospital where three persons succumbed to injuries.
Seven injured persons are undergoing treatment in the hospital while others were released after giving primary medical services.
Highway police seized the two vehicles.
