JAMALPUR, Aug 10, 2019 (BSS)- Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a
drive arrested a drug peddler along with 1,870 pieces of Yaba tablets in
Kauniar Char Bazar area under Dewanganj Upazila of the district yesterday
afternoon.
The drug peddler was identified as Md. Abu Hannan,24, son of Lutfar Rahman
resident of village Tangalia Para under Rajibpur Upazila in Kurigram
district.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force raided in the area
yesterday afternoon and arrested him with the Yaba tablets, RAB-14 sources
said.
A case was registered with Dewanganj Police Station, RAB added.
