DU-CLEAN-CAMPUS-WEEK (WITH PICTURE)
DU, DUCSU starts monthly ‘Clean Campus Week’
DHAKA, August 05, 2019 (BSS) – The Dhaka University (DU) authority in
collaboration with DU Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) today began a monthly
cleanliness drive named ‘Clean Campus Week’ from tomorrow.
The first week of every month will be observed as the ‘Clean Campus Week’
marking the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and DU and
the golden anniversary of independence.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the campaign
today on TSC premises. DU Pro-VC (Admin) Prof Dr Muhammad Samad, DU Teachers’
Association president Prof Maksud Kamal, DUCSU Assistant General Secretary
Saddam Hussain, among others, took part in the campaign.
