DHAKA, Aug 5, 2019 (BSS) – Prof Dr Sabbir Ahmed Khan and Dr Md Maruf Bin
Habib were elected president and general secretary respectively of Uttara
Adhunik Medical College (UAMC) Doctors and Teachers’ Welfare Association.
Prof Dr Kawser Parveen and Prof Dr Md Nurul Hossain were elected vice-
presidents, Dr Md Roknuzzaman and Dr Mohammad Shah Alam became joint
secretaries, Dr Md Anarul Islam organizing secretary, Dr Debashish Ghosh
office secretary, Dr Hafija Akhter treasurer, Dr Md Moinul Hasan cultural
secretary, Dr Md Masud Alam scientific and publication secretary and Dr
Mohammed Rasel Kabir sports secretary in the 21-member executive committee,
said a press release.
The elected members are – Dr Harun-Al-Rashid, Dr Mahmudul Hasan, Dr Md
Shafiqul Islam, Dr Md Yiasin Arafat, Dr Mir Md Hasan, Dr Moinul Hassan, Dr
Saurav Sikder, Dr Shahriar Islam Khan and Dr Sharif Mohammad Sultan.
The election of the welfare association was held on Monday.
