DENGUE-SITUATION-COUNTRY
2,065 dengue patients hospitalized in 24 hours
DHAKA, Aug 5, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 2,065 new dengue patients were
admitted to different hospitals across the country in the last 24 hours, said
an official release here today.
According to the report of Health Emergency Operations Center and Control
Room under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), a total of
4,962 dengue patients’ were admitted to 38 public and private hospitals in
Dhaka while 2,696 were admitted to hospitals outside Dhaka, till today.
The report also said that a total number of 27,437 patients were diagnosed
with dengue fever in different hospitals across the country this year.
A total of 19,761 people returned home from hospitals after recovering
from dengue fever this year, added the release.
