MYMENSINGH, Aug 5, 2019 (BSS) – The government has undertaken a project to construct 198 small bridges in 13 upazilas for development of rural communication networks of the district.
The bridges, 12 meter each in length, would be constructed at a cost of Taka 47 crore during this fiscal year under the supervision of District Relief and Rehabilitation Office (DRRO).
Under the project 12 bridges will be constructed in Phulpur Upazila at Taka 3.36 crore, 17 bridges will be constructed in Ishwargonj at Taka 3.73 crore, 16 bridges in Gouripur at Taka 3.47 crore, 19 bridges in Nandail at Taka 4.14 lakh, 19 bridges in Phulbaria at Taka 4.14 crore, 14 bridges in Haluaghat at Taka 3.35 crore.
Besides, 13 bridges would be constructed in Muktagacha at Taka 3.42 crore, 19 bridges in Trishal Taka 4.15 crore, 14 bridges in Gafargeon at Taka 3.28 lakh , 14 bridges in Bhaluka at Taka 3.65 crore, 17 bridges in Mymensingh Sadar at Taka 4.31 crore, 10 bridges in Dobaura at Taka 2.31 crore and 14 bridges in Tarakanda Upazila at Taka 3.37 crore.
