DENGUE-PATIENTS-RECOVERY
17,338 people recovered from dengue
DHAKA, August 4, 2019 (BSS) – A total of 17,338 people returned home from
hospitals after recovering from dengue fever this year.
According to Public Health Emergency Operation Centre and Control Room’s
report, a total of 17,338 dengue patients got well and returned home from
January 1 to till the date.
A total 7,398 patients are currently undergoing treatment in different
hospitals and clinics across the country.
A total of 2,429 dengue patients were admitted to different hospitals in
the last 24 hours across the country, said the report.
Among them, 650 were admitted to government hospitals, 403 to non-
government and private hospitals while 817 were admitted to the different
hospitals outside Dhaka, added the report.
The report also said a total number of 24,804 patients were diagnosed with
dengue fever in different hospitals across the country this year.
However, 18 people have died from dengue till now.
