People can pay traffic prosecution fine using debit, credit cards: Asaduzzaman
DHAKA, Aug 04, 2019 (BSS)- Vehicle owners and drivers from now on can pay the money of traffic prosecution fine through their debit or credit cards on the spot, Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Md Asaduzzaman Mia said here today.
The DMP commissioner revealed the information while inaugurating the traffic e-prosecution fine activities through cash card on Rajmoni Crossing in Kakrail area.
Asaduzzaman Mia said the spot traffic prosecution fine activities will reduce both the hassle and time of the concerned people.
In the previous system there were risks of losing and harming important documents, he added.
The DMP chief said, “We had a dream to make the traffic activities digitalized. The vehicle owners or drivers can pay the money of fine of traffic e-prosecution through any mobile banking including UCash, bKash, Rocket, debit and credit cards from now on.”
DMP senior officials and the officials of UCBL, ITCL and Banglalink were present, among others.
