Kamal Mojumder for gearing up cleanliness drive
DHAKA, Aug 2, 2019 (BSS) – State Minister for Industries Kamal Ahmed Mojumder today underscored the need for further gearing up cleanliness programme at the ward level to destroy the breeding grounds of aedes mosquitoes to control dengue and chikungunya.
“Ward council should be strengthened by providing necessary equipment, medicines and manpower in controlling aedes mosquitoes,” he told a function on dengue awareness campaign at ward number 16 under Dhaka North City Corporation here.
Councilor Ward number 16 Md Matiur Rahman Mollah was present on the occasion.
The state minister called upon the physicians to provide treatment to dengue patients at lesser cost.
If possible, poor patients should be given treatment free of cost, he said.
