Girl crushed under wheels of bus in Savar
SAVAR, Aug 2, 2019 (BSS) – A girl was crushed under the wheels of a bus on
the Dhaka-Aricha Highway in Savar today.
The deceased was identified as Shilpi Akhter, hailed from Debidwar upazila
of Cumilla district. She was a student at Chattogram Mohila Polytechnic
Institute.
Police said Shilpi fell from the bus as driver of the bus stopped the
vehicle suddenly in C&B area. As soon as she fell down from the bus, the
vehicle ran over her, leaving her dead on the spot.
Police seized the bus and arrested its driver.
A case was filed with Saver Model Thana in this regard.
