DHAKA, Aug 1, 2019 (BSS) – The Ministry of Shipping constituted a three
member probe committee, reforming two-member committee to investigate the
death of a schoolboy in an ambulance due to delayed departure of a ferry for
three hours in Khathalbari jetty, Madaripur.
The Ministry of Shipping issued an order in this regard on July 31, a press
release said here today.
The newly formed committee comprises additional secretary of the shipping
ministry Sanjoy Kumar Banik as the convener, joint secretary of the ministry,
Shahnawaz Dilruba Khan and Deputy Secretary Shah Habibur Rahman.
The committee will submit an initial inquiry report to the ministry within
seven working days.
