NETRAKONA, July 29, 2019 (BSS) – Superintendent of Police (SP) Netrakona Akbar Ali Munshi today said journalists could play role in maintaining law and order and stopping rumors in society.
“The role of journalists is very crucial for projecting real pictures of the society, which ultimately will help maintain law and order as well as stop rumors,” he made the comments at a meeting with local journalists of different national dailies, news agencies and electronic media at his official conference room here today.
Additional SPs of the district SM Asraful Alam, Shahjahan Mia, and
Fakruzzaman Juwel and senior journalists Shamolendu Paul, M Faqrul Haque,
Haider Jahan Chowdhory and Habibur Rahman, among others, spoke at the
meeting.
