Shanghai crude oil futures close lower
SHANGHAI, July 29, 2019 (BSS/Xinhua) – Crude oil futures closed lower
Monday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for September delivery was down 3.3
yuan (about 48 U.S. cents) to close at 439.2 yuan a barrel.
The total trading volume for six listed crude oil futures contracts on the
exchange was 228,526 lots, with a turnover of about 100.9 billion yuan.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas
investment, on March 26 in 2018.
