Training on dengue prevention held at CPSCR in Rangpur

RANGPUR, July 29, 2019 (BSS) – A day-long training for the trainers on
‘Dengue Prevention Programme-2019’ was held at auditorium of Cantonment
Public School and College, Rangpur (CPSCR) in the city on Sunday.

The educational institution organised the event for its teachers, students,
officials and employees to make them aware of the symptoms of dengue fever as
advance preventive measures in the backdrop of its spread in different parts
of the country.

Principal of CPSCR Colonel Kazi Shamim Hassan presided over the training
programme.

Physician of the Combined Military Hospital at Rangpur Cantonment Captain
Dr. Jenifer conducted an awareness building session on dengue fever, reasons
behind its spread and preventive measures in the training programme.

Vice-principals of the college section of CPSCR Tapan Kumar Mandal and
school section Mostafizar Rahman, among others, spoke.

Colonel Kazi Shamim Hassan urged participating teachers to educate students
about dengue fever and ways for its prevention in classrooms so that students
could make their family members aware of the disease for preventing its
spread in the society.
