80pc people satisfied with govt performance: survey
DHAKA, July 25, 2019 (BSS) – Eighty percent people of the country are
satisfied with the performance of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as her
government is running the country for the third consecutive term, political
research group CallReady today said releasing a survey.
In a press conference, the group released its findings saying the
respondents particularly were appreciative of different mega government
projects, including construction of roads as well as highways and development
in education sector.
They said the nationwide study carried out to gauge the people’s attitude
towards the first six months of the current tenure of the government as they
quizzed 1,255 respondents across the country over mobile phone while among
the respondents, 24 percent were women.
Australia-based expatriate researcher Professor Dr Abul Hasnat Milton
presented the survey result at the press conference at Dhaka Reporters’ Unity
(DRU) saying Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader and Education
Minister Dr Dipu Moni topped the list of ministers in terms of their
performance.
