NARAYANGONJ, July 23, 2019 (BSS) – Police today recovered bodies of four persons including a woman from different areas of the district.
The bodies were recovered from Araihazar, Bandar, Sidhirgonj and Fatulla thana area, police said.
A person identified as Suruj Mia, 40, was beaten to death by rivals at Maridia area of Araihazar thana centering over a land related dispute. OC of Araihazar thana Nazrul Islam they are trying to nab the killers.
Sidhirgonj thana police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from Mizmiz area with marks of injuries on different parts of the body.
Police suspected that the miscreants killed the youth in another place and left the body at Mizmiz area.
OC of Sidhirgonj thana Selim Mia said, they are trying to trace the identity of the youth. At Kaitakhali area of Bandar thana a youth named Mishar, 25 was killed over previous enmity.
Police arrested three persons in this connection. Police said Mishar, son of Tukku Sikder of Kaitakhali area, was an expatriate and returned home few days ago and joined a private company.
Fatulla thana police recovered a mutilated body of a woman from Lalkha area. The woman identified as Shefali Begum was a vegetable vendor.
Family members said Shefali, who was suffering from epileptic seizure for long time, was missing for last three days. Police suspected that Shefali died in a drowning.
