Prof Sazzad made BCSCL independent director
DHAKA, July 18, 2019 (BSS)-University Grants Commission (UGC) member Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain has been nominated as the independent director of board of directors for Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Ltd (BCSCL).
The Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology issued a circular in this regard, said an UGC press release today.
Professor Sazzad is presently serving as a full-time member of the UGC.
Earlier, he was the senior faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).
BCSCL, the state owned company, is operating the Bangabandhu Satellite-1.
