71.85pc pass in eight general education boards
DHAKA, July 17, 2019 (BSS) – The eight general education boards secured 71.85 percent pass rate with 41,807 GPA-5 achievers in the Higher Education Certificate (HSC) examinations this year.
A total of 11,26,126 students appeared in the examinations while 8,09,149 came out successful under eight general education boards, according to the results published today.
The pass rate has increased by 6.30 percentage compared to the last year’s 64.55 percent.
Number of GPA-5 achievers also increased as 25,562 students attained the maximum grade point average (GPA) in last year’s examinations in the eight general education boards.
