Female students outnumber males in pass rate, boys ahead in GPA-5
DHAKA, July 17, 2019 (BSS) – Female students in the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations have outnumbered the male students in terms of pass rate while the male students are ahead in getting GPA-5 this year.
According to the results published here today, the pass rate of female students is 76.44 percent while that of the male students is 71.67 percent. On an average 73.93 percent of the examinees passed this year under 10 education boards of the country.
A total of 24,576 male students achieved GPA (Grade Point Average)-5 while a total of 22,710 female students got GPA-5 this year.
As many as 7,03,000 male students participated in the examination while the number of female students was 6,33,929.
