DHAKA, July 16, 2019 (BSS) – Country’s leading archer Ruman Sana lost to 55th-ranked Sultan Duzelbayev of Kazakhstan by 7-3 set points in the first elimination match of Ready Steady Tokyo test event for next year’s Olympic Games held on Tuesday in Tokyo, Japan.

The famed archer Sana earlier finished 10th in the qualification round of men’s individual recurve event at the Ready Steady Tokyo test after scoring 662 out of 720 points.

Even though Sana bettered his qualification score [631] from the Munich Archery World Cup (Stage-4) earlier this month, it was less than what he scored [676] on way to winning a bronze medal in World Archery Championships in Netherlands last month.

Archer Ruman Sana along with head coach Martin Frederic is expected to return home on Friday (July 19).
