Saif SC beat Sheikh Jamal DC 3-2 in BPL
DHAKA, July 15, 2019 (BSS) – Saif Sporting Club registered a hard-fought 3-2
goal victory over Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club in the lone match of Bangladesh
Premier League on Monday at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.
In the day’s proceeding, foreign recruit Celin put Saif SC ahead in the 3rd
minute while Deiner doubled the lead in the 30th minute.
Sheikh Jamal, however, fought back after the breather as Rony pulled one
back in the 56th minute and scored the second goal in the 58th minute.
But, it was Rahim who sealed the victory for Saif in the 73rd minute of the
match.
With the day’s win, Saif SC improved their tally with 41 points from 19
matches while Sheikh Jamal stands at sixth position to remain at their
previous credit of 24 points playing 20 outings.
