CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 15, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two alleged illegal drug peddlers with 2,800 Yaba tablets from Chandlai village under Chapainawabganj municipality last evening.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Saiful Islam, 35, son of late Sirajul Islam and Md. Mukul Islam, 29, son of Md. Mofij Uddin both of Uttar Uzirpur village under Shibganj upazila of the district.
RAB said, acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp raided in the area around 5:45 pm and arrested them with
the Yaba tablets.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana with a case, RAB said.
