Razzaque mourns death of Ershad
DHAKA, July 14, 2019 (BSS) – Agriculture Minister Dr Mohammad Abdur Razzaque today expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
In a condolence message, he recalled the constructive role of Ershad in parliament as the opposition leader saying the death of Ershad is a big loss for the country’s political arena.
The minister prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Ershad, also a former president, died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) here this morning at the age of 91 years.
