Bangladesh U19 to play tri-nation tournament in England

DHAKA, July 13, 2019 (BSS) – Bangladesh Under-19 team will play a tri-nation youth ODI tournament in England, that also involved India apart from the hosts.

For the tournament, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced a 15-member team with Akbar Ali leading the side.

The team will depart the country on Monday for the tournament.

Bangladesh will play a warm-up game against Young Lions Invitational XI and ECB Performance Centre, Loughborough on July 18, before they begin the mission, taking on England Under-19 team on July 22 at New Road in Worcester.

In the group phase, they will play four matches each against India and England. The top two teams will play for the final, which will be held on August 11 at Hove, Sussex.
