Woman killed in Thakurgaon train accident
THAKURGAON, July 12, 2019 (BSS) – A woman was crushed under the wheels of a train at Ruhia upazila of the district this afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Monura Begum, 50, hailed from Ghoni Maheshpur village in the upazila.
An eye witness said the accident occurred in the level crossing, adjacent to her house, when Monura trying to save her goat. She died on the spot.
Officer-in-Charge of Ruhia Thana Prodip Kumar confirmed it.
