Two held with cannabis in C’nawabganj
CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 12, 2019 (BSS) – Members of Rapid Action Battalion
(RAB) arrested two alleged illegal drug peddlers along with 4.7kg of cannabis
from Mohipur village under Gobratala union in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila
last night.
The arrested persons were identified as Md. Erfan Ali, 45, son of Md.
Faizuddin and Md. Ibrahim Ali Babu, 22, son of Md. Erfan Ali, residence of
Mohipur village in Chapainawabganj Sadar upazila.
RAB said, acting on secret information, an operation team of RAB-5 from
Chapainawabganj camp raided the house of Erfan Ali around 9 pm and arrested
them with the cannabis.
Later, the arrested persons were handed over to the police of
Chapainawabganj Sadar thana with a case, RAB said.
