Ershad’s health condition unchanged
DHAKA, July 8, 2019 (BSS) – The health condition of Jatiya Party chairman and leader of the opposition in parliament HM Ershad, who is now undergoing treatment at Combined Military Hospital (CMH), Dhaka remains unchanged.
“Health condition of HM Ershad remains unchanged. He is not out of danger, but still alive. He has been given slipping pills,” acting chairman of Jatiya Party GM Quader said at a press briefing on the latest update of Ershad’s condition at the party chairman’s Banani office here.
Ershad still remains putting on artificial ventilation and dialysis is being conducted to remove the excess water and toxins from his body, Quader said.
His blood pressure and heartbeat remain normal, he said, adding that artificial ventilation will be removed once Ershad’s other organs, including lung and kidneys, work normally.
Ershad was admitted to the CMH with old-age complications on June 26.
