Landslide kills two in Rangamati
RANGAMATI, July 8, 2019 (BSS) – A landslide triggered by heavy rains killed
two people, including a minor boy, at Malibagan in Kaptai Kalabagan area in
the district today.
The victims were identified as Tahmina Akhter, 25, and Uzzal Mallik, 3,
police sources said.
Officer-in-Charge of Kaptai Thana Nurul Anwar told BSS that two people died
as a chunk of earth fell on them at 12 noon. Later, members of fire services
recovered bodies of the victims.”
