BSMRSTU VC pays homage to Bangabandhu
DHAKA, July 6, 2019(BSS)- Vice-Chancellor of Bangamata Sheikh Fajilatunnesa Mujib Science and Technology University (BSFMSTU) Professor Dr Shamsuddin Ahmed paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his mausoleum at Tungipara in Gopalganj on Friday.
After placing the wreaths, the VC offered fateha and special munajat seeking peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and the welfare of the country.
Professor Ahmed said Bangabandhu gave us a dream of building a “Sonar Bangla” and his daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been materializing his dream.
Registrar of BSFMSTU Khandakar Hamidur Rahman, Chairman of Social Work Department Professor Dr Mahabubur Rahman, Director (Finance and Accounts) Md Abdur Rezzak and others were also present in the programme.
