Youth killed as train runs him over
DHAKA, July 6, 2019 (BSS) – A youth was crushed under the wheels of a
train in Khilkhet area of the capital here today.
The youth was identified as Imran Hossain, 26, son of Mohammad Ali of
Nawabganj upazila in Dhaka.
“Imran was crossing the railway tracks under Khilkhet Flyover, when the
train ran over him. He died on the spot,” Delwar Hossen, Assistant Sub-
Inspector (ASI) at police outpost of Airport Rail Station, told BSS.
The youth was identified through his NID. His body was sent to Dhaka
Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the ASI said.
