DHAKA, July 06, 2019 (BSS)- Condition of ailing Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad today remained unchanged and stated to be not out of danger.
“He has been undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka and put on life support,” said a press release quoting acting JP Chairman GM Quader.
He has been put on artificial ventilation and dialysis was conducted to remove excess water from his body.
Ershad was admitted to CMH with old-age complications on June 26.
The JP chief has been suffering from serious ailments for the last nine months. He also went to Singapore for treatment after the last national election.
