Sujan inaugurates newly constructed school building in Panchagarh
PANCHAGARH, July 6, 2019 (BSS) – Railways Minister Md Nurul Islam Sujan
today inaugurated a newly constructed two-storey building of Kalur Hat KC
High School in Debiganj upazila of the district.
The inaugural function was held at Kalur Hat KC High School in Debiganj
upazila. Upazila Chairman Abdul Maleq and officials of local administration,
among others, were present at the occasion. Education Engineering Department
constructed the two-storey building at a cost of Taka 73 lakh.
Speaking on the occasion, Sujan said despite a number of challenges,
Bangladesh has some remarkable and praiseworthy achievements in the education
sector.
“Distribution of free textbooks among the students of primary and
secondary levels, increased enrolment rate and eradicating gender inequality
in primary and secondary education have already been acknowledged in
different international forums,” he added.
