KURIGRAM, July 5, 2019 (BSS) – A child drowned in the Nilkomor river in
Phulbari upazila of the district this noon.
The deceased was identified as Jisan Islam, 11, son of Moniruddin of
Kutichandrakhana village under the upazila.
Local people said Jisan drowned while he was taking bath in the river with
some of his friends this noon.
On information, his family members rescued him and taken to Phulbari
Hospital where the duty doctors declared him dead, hospital sources
confirmed.
