Bangabandhu birth centenary media sub-committee holds meeting
DHAKA, July 4, 2019 (BSS) – A meeting of the Media, Publicity and Documentation Sub-Committee of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s birth centenary celebration national implementation committee was held today at the International Mother Language Institute.
The committee had an elaborate discussion on the celebration of the 100th birth anniversary of the architect of independent Bangladesh.
Meeting sources said discussions were held on making posters and other work plans regarding the anniversary.
State Minister for Information Dr Murad Hasan, National Implementation Committee Chief Coordinator Dr Kamal Abdul Naser Chowdhury, Artist Rafiqun Nabi, Professor Samrajit Roy Chowdhury, cultural personality Ramendu Majumder, Md Aminul Islam, Professor Nesar Ahmed, Poet Tareq Sujat, Department of Films and Publications Director General (DG) Mohammad Ishtiaque Hossain and Press Information Department Principal Information Officer Surath Kumar Sarker, among others, were present in the meeting with Information Secretary Abdul Malek in the chair.
