Army Chief to embark on 5-day US visit on July 6
DHAKA, July 4, 2019 (BSS) – Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed will
leave here for the United States on July 6 on a five-day official visit, said
an ISPR press release.
During the visit, General Aziz Ahmed will have meeting with the Military
Adviser for Peacekeeping Mission of the United Nations, Assistant Secretary-
General, Department of Operational Support and Under-Secretary General,
Department of Peacekeeping Operations.
General Aziz’s visit will play important role for increasing the number of
peacekeepers in UN peacekeeping mission and Bangladesh’s representation in
the policy-making level, said the ISPR.
The Chief of Army Staff will return home on July 10.
