15 illegal structures demolished in Ctg
CHATTOGRAM, July 3, 2019 (BSS) – Chattogram Development Authority (CDA)
demolished a total of 15 illegal structures erected on both banks of Noahkhal
canal in the port city today.
Special Magistrate of CDA Saiful Islam started the drive around 11 am
participated by representatives of different stakeholders, including
Chattogram Port Authority, Power Development Board, Chattogram City
Corporation and Chattogram WASA, Directorate of Chattogram Environment and
Metropolitan Police.
Ahmed Mainuddin, executive engineer of CDA, told BSS that they knocked down
a total of 26 illegal buildings yesterday while 15 today.
The drive will continue to remove illegal structures from 13 canals of
Chattogram, he added.
