One killed in gunfight with RAB in Teknaf

Cox’s Bazar, July 3, 2019 (BSS) – An alleged drug trader indentified as Salim Ullah was killed in gunfight with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) today.

The incident of gunfight took place at Baharchhra Uttar Shil Khali Jaobagan last night.

The dead person was the son of Nazir Ahmed of natun Pallan Para of Teknaf Upazila, In-charge of Teknaf Camp of RAB-15 Lt. Mirza Shahed Mahtab said.

Salim Ullah was an absconding accused of a case filed in connection with recovery of two-lakh pices of yaba.

RAB claimed that two of their members were injured in the gunfight who were given primary aid. Two guns, ten thousand pieces of yaba and three rounds of cartages were recovered from the scene, RAB sources said.
