One held with 1,950 yaba pills in city’s Uttara
DHAKA, July 02, 2019 (BSS) – Police arrested a man in possession of 1,950
yaba tablets from Uttara area in the city.
The detainee was identified as Mizanur Rahman, 35, son of Mohammad Lokman
Hossain hailed from Rayerpur-Sadardi village of Faridpur district.
“Based on a secret information, a team of Uttara police conducted a drive
and arrested Mizanur with the illegal drug from Sluice Gate area on Monday
afternoon,” police sources said.
Officer in-Charge (OC) of Uttara West Police Station Tapan Chandra Saha
today confirmed the incident to BSS. A case was filed in this connection
under the Narcotics Control Act.
