Abahani post 2-1 win over BJMC in BPL
DHAKA, July 1, 2019 (BSS) – Title aspirant Abahani Limited, came from behind, to register a 2-1 goal victory over team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation (BJMC) in the Bangladesh Premier League football held on Monday at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali.
In the day’s match, foreign recruit Samson put BJMC ahead in the 26th minute while Jewel restored the parity for Abahani in the 40th minute.
After the resumption, Masih sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Abahani in the 60th minute of the match.
With the day’s win, the traditional sky blue Dhanmondi outfit Abahani Limited improved their rally to 42 points from 17 matches while bottom-ranked BJMC remained at their previous credit of eight points playing the same number of outings.
