Speaker leaves for Moscow
DHAKA, July 1, 2019 (BSS) – Jatiya Sangsad (JS) Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin
Chaudhury left here last night for Moscow to join a parliamentary conference
to be held today (Monday).
The two-day conference 2nd International Forum “Development of
Parliamentarism 2019” will continue till July 2nd, said an official release
here today.
Chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on Home Ministry, M
Shamsul Haque Tuku and Md Zillul Hakim, MP, are accompanying the Speaker
during the visit, the release added.
Senior officials of the Parliament Secretariat saw the Speaker and her
entourage members off at the airport.
Dr Shirin is expected to return home on July 5.
