Afghanistan A team arrives in the city
DHAKA, July 1, 2019 (BSS) – Afghanistan A team reached Dhaka on Monday to play a two-match four-day and five-match one-day series against Bangladesh A team.
In their month long tour to the country they will play at three venues against the second string Bangladesh side.
Simon Helmut will be the head coach for Bangladesh A team for which the BCB is yet to announce any team. But it is learnt the players who played for the national team in different phases of their career will be included.
The first four-dayer is scheduled to take place at the Sheikh Abu Naser Stadium (SANS) in Khulna from July 5-9. The two teams then will travel to Chittagong where they will play the second four-day match from July 12-15 at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium (ZACS).
The ZACS will host first three one-day match on July 21, 23 and 24.
The fourth and fifth one-day will be held in BKSP on July 27 and 29.
The Afghans will depart the country on July 30.
