Speakers for implementing KAIZEN method to increase productivity
DHAKA, June 30, 2019 (BSS) – Speakers at a workshop today underscored the
need for implementing the KAIZEN method properly to increase productivity in
industries.
They observed that productivity will be increased up to 25 percent
through creating awareness among the workers involved in the manufacturing
process.
The speakers came up with the observation at the workshop on
“Implementation of Online KAIZEN method in Jute Mills under the a2i project”
at the Industries Ministry in the city, said a press release.
National Productivity Orgnaisation (NPO) organised the workshop.
Industries Secretary Md Abdul Halim attended the workshop as the chief guest
while NPO Director SM Asrafuzzaman was in the chair.
Among others, Additional Secretary of the Industries Ministry Lutfun
Nahar Begum was present.
In his speech, Abdul Halim emphasized on increasing productivity in the
jute industry and ensuring the diverse use of jute products.
In this regard, he said, the online KAIZEN method in jute mills will be
positive in promoting the quality of product.
