DHAKA, June 29, 2019 (BSS) – Table topper Bashundhara Kings continued their domination as they came from behind to register a 4-1 goal victory over Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra in the Bangladesh Premier League Football held on Saturday at Sheikh Kamal Stadium in Nilphamari.
In the day’s match, Royel put the freedom fighters ahead early in the 12nd minute while Nasir restored the parity for Bashundhara in the 33rd minute of the match.
Nasir scored his second goal putting Bashundhara ahead in the 45+4th minute while after the lemon break foreign recruit Marcos further widened the margin scoring the third goal for Bashundhara in the 67th minute.
Rana completed the winners’ tally scoring the fourth goal for his team in the 92nd minute of the match.
With the day’s win, Bashundhara improved their tally to 46 points from 16 matches while Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra remained at their previous credit of 17 points from 17 outings.
Team Bangladesh Jute Mills Corporation will take on Abahani Limited scheduled to be held on Monday (July 1) at Shaheed Bhulu Stadium in Noakhali.
