DHAKA, June 29, 2019 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) has taken a primary plan to host the invitational international hockey to mark the hundred years birth day celebration of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The decision was taken at the BHF executive committee’s meeting held on Saturday at conference room of BHF with its president Air Chief Marshall Masihuzzaman Serniabat in the chair.
The meeting also decided to organize school hockey tournament soon and talented players selected from this tournament will be given long-term training.
In the meeting federation’s executive member Jamil Abdul Naser has been made manager of the Indoor Asia Cup bound hockey team and also has taken decision to arrange the indoor coaches’ course in the last week of July.
The meeting also has taken the decision to arrange federation’s annual general meeting in the last week of August. Some more decisions were also taken during the executive committee’s meeting.
