Minor boy drowns in Barguna
BARGUNA, June 29, 2019 (BSS) – A minor boy drowned in a pond at Kathaltoli
Kalibari village under Pathorghata Upazila of the district this morning.
The deceased was identified as Durjoy, 02, hailed from the village and son
of one Dilip Biswas.
The child’s uncle Shunil Chandra Biswas said Durjoy drowned in the pond
close to their house at around 10 am. After searching for some time, family
members found the body floating in the pond water. Durjoy was taken to
Pathorghata Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctors declared him
dead.
